The past is a good place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there”: Unknown.

Live-in-PresentLiving in the now is very important because everything happens now. Even if there is memory from the past that surfaces in this moment our interpretation will still be referenced from where we are in awareness here and now. Listen to the thought of mind, and throw away those useless thought which we have no control over, which usually creates “negative emotions” and keeps repeating in a never ending cycle. It is easy to think back when life might have been easier and enjoyed more. We all have many memories that are held deep within our hearts and minds that may bring a smile to our faces when the memory is tapped upon. There are also memories that may not be pleasant and may make us depressed, the present is all we have. We need to be aware of what is around us and what is real to live more fulfilled lives.’ Continue reading »
